A nonpartisan investigation into the problem of American job outsourcing, Greg Spotts' self-funded documentary is an insightful glimpse into the issue via the personal lives of those affected by the trend. As more and more American corporations are replacing American job holders with foreign workers, who are willing to work for less pay, US families are left without resources or an economic foothold. Meanwhile, foreign workers are exploited, and corporate CEOs are the only ones who come out ahead. Spotts observes firsthand the structural and damaging effects of the global sourcing epidemic, visiting 19 cities and towns, and logging over 80 hours of interview hours.
