This award-winning documentary, WTC: THE FIRST 24 HOURS, lyrically chronicles the infamous day of September 11th, 2001, when the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil took place. A moving compilation of footage taken by independent cameramen, the film begins with horror and tragedy as, early in the morning, a 747 crashed into the North Tower of the landmark World Trade Center. Documenting the unspeakable events of the day, it still manages to end with a ray of hope--capturing the incredible humanity and generosity of the New Yorkers left behind. With no narration or music, WTC allows the footage to speak for itself, poetically reconstructing one of the most significant days in U.S. history.
