After the brutal Taliban regime were deposed in Afghanistan, the citizens of the country found themselves able to indulge in pleasures that most of the rest of the world takes for granted. One of those was music--something that was forbidden under the stringent Taliban ruling. This documentary from filmmaker Simon Broughton was shot just after the country was freed, and highlights the various forays into music that were taken in the immediate aftermath of Afghanistan`s liberation.
