Directed by Kathy Bates, who also stars, AMBULANCE GIRL tells the true story of Jane Stern (Bates), a writer suffering from depression and seeking a career change. Based on Stern`s autobiographical account, the film follows her training to become an Emergency Medical Technician, with amusing results.
